Kokeshi dolls are traditional Japanese figures characterized by a large head and a simple body. Though customarily given as symbols of friendship, Becky’s modernization of the dolls transforms them into small designer objects. Some of the figures are inspired by historical icons from the art and design world, while others are born from Becky’s own fantasy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The kokeshi dolls are hand-painted. Slight imperfections may be present which are typical of handmade work. These are not defects but features that make every doll unique.

Becky Kemp

Becky Kemp is an English artist based in South London. From a young age, Becky has been illustrating her daily impulses in a sketchbook. Born into a creative family, Becky always knew that she wanted to create and design.
