Studio 63 is a architecture and design studio based in the historical centre of Florence, Italy. The fruitful encounter between Piero Angelo Orecchioni and Massimo Dei led to launch Studio 63 in 1998. A strong identity, resulting from deep researches and creative proposals, is the hallmark of their projects. Studio 63 operates over 25 countries around the world managing projects from concept development through design and planning to the full realization.


Studio 63 is an architecture and design studio based in the historical center of Florence in Italy. The fruitful encounter between Piero Angelo Orecchioni and Massimo Dei led to the foundation of Studio 63 in 1998. 


Massimo Dei studied in the Faculty of Architecture of Florence, and from an early age has been interested in design. As a result he has collaborated with a number of companies as a designer and in product development.


Piero Angelo Orecchioni is an architect and designer with a passion for art and theatre. With the help of his friend and mentor, Mario Mariotti, he exhibited his artistic works in a series of collective and personal exhibitions organized by Mariotti in 1994. He obtained his degree in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1989.


While the headquarters are still in Florence, the studio has expanded to include international operations and now has offices in Hong Kong (2005) and Shanghai (2008) and a partner office in New York (2011).


The creative team is composed of professionals, coming from various disciplines, working together in a fertile and challenging multi-cultural exchange.


Studio 63 is today operating in more than 25 countries around the world.
