Po 50-ciu latach hibernacji, krzesło Drop trafiło znowu do produkcji !! Zaprojektowane przez Arne Jacobsena w 1958 roku dla legendarnego hotelu SAS Royal ( teraźniejsza nazwa Radisson Blu Royal Hotel) w Kopenhadze.
Piękne krzesło z niezwykłą historią produkowane przez fabrykę Fritz Hansen.

About the design
The Drop™ chair draws inspiration from the feeling of an embrace, but it has also been designed for freedom of movement; creating a unique sense of comfort. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, it was originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen before being relaunched in 2014. It is said to be Jacobsen’s favourite chair among his many designs.
Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen (1902-71), architect and designer. Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Cph, professor at the Academy.
As a designer, Jacobsen made prototypes for furniture, textiles, wallpaper, silverware etc. Among his most famous designs are The Ant™, Series 7™, The Egg™ and The Swan™ , and the tableware Cylinda-Line.
