Washed linen doesn’t necessarily need any ironing, small wrinkles are allowed, even desired for!

Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, it’s very absorbent and dries very fast. For these reasons linen is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated during our production process, this is how we get the outstanding absorption capacity.

Large towel 95x180 cm is a perfect companion for the beach as it is fast drying and you can wrap a dry towel after every swim you take. You can also lie on this large towel and use it as a cover while dressing up after a swim. Double woven JÄKÄLÄ kitchen towel can also be used as a hand towel.

Lapuan Kankurit is part of a Masters of Linen organisation, that means that all the linen we use is the best European quality. JÄKÄLÄ towel has been made of traceable 100% european Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. The products are woven in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.

This product is made out of 100% linen. Ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa and it is traceable 100% european Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.

Our strategy is to be responsible for the whole production from yarn to readymade products. Main part of our whole production is made in our own weaving mill in Lapua.

Product development, material purchases, programming of looms and design as well as warping, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection is done in Lapua in our own weaving mill. Sewing is mainly done in our own subsidiary sewing company in Lithuania or our own weaving mill in Lapua. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Country of origin is Finland.
